Collections are generally from 9AM to 6PM local time. Depending on the selected courier, the sender’s availability for collection must be reconfirmed prior to the collection taking place.
Couriers may occasionally arrive slightly earlier or later, in some areas and during busy periods, but the majority of collections and deliveries take place within the 09:00 and 18:00 timeframe.
Please ensure that you supply a local contact number for you or your collection contacts.
FedEx Collections (Domestic and International Services)
FedEx gives us a wide collection window between 9am and 6pm. Normally, collections take place in the afternoon for drivers to allocate deliveries in the morning. However, this is also dependent on the location of the collection address, and the route of the driver. Please bear in mind that the drivers are not provided work phones for collections, so they are unable to call upon/prior to arrival. They may carry personal phones, in which calls made for collection related concerns are to their discretion.
DHL Collections (Domestic/Ecommerce)
For DHL collections, their local team will make contact on the morning of the collection to confirm the sender’s availability at the collection property, as a standard procedure post COVID. The courier should contact the sender through their number and email address provided during booking. It is highly recommended that a local phone number is provided for the sender, to avoid any missed calls. Any contact from DHL regarding collection must be answered in order not to cancel the collection.
DHL (International/Express)
Collection timeframes, whether agreed upon between the sender and the courier or Sherpr, is never a guarantee. There may be circumstances beyond Sherpr or the courier’s control that may prevent them from honoring any timeframes agreed upon. For more information, please see our Terms and Conditions.
