I have shipped less than what I have booked. Will this cause issues?

If you have shipped a lesser number of packages than what you have paid for, this may cause issues with the order once this arrives at Customs at the destination country.

When your shipping labels are generated, all information supplied during the customs form are tranmitted over to the courier. This information also includes the number of packages to be shipped under the shipping label generated for your order.

When this information is received by the relevant Customs authority in the destination country, they expect that the same number of packages will arrive as indicated in your shipping labels. Customs cannot complete the clearance process without all specified pieces physically present for inspection.

If for example you have purchased an order to ship 12 boxes, then our system will generate shipping labels dedicated for a 12 piece shipment. If in the occasion only 6 boxes are shipped and arrive at Customs, they will expect that the remaining 6 are arriving soon.

However, if these remaining 6 pieces do not arrive, then the first 6 pieces already at Customs will be held indefinitely until Customs have 12 pieces in total.

If you have shipped less than you have booked, please inform our support team immediately, so we can forward any amended documents needed for Customs to only anticipate the actual number of packages you have shipped.

Can I get a refund or credit for the boxes I have not shipped?

If you have shipped less than the final number indicated on your shipping labels, Sherpr will not refund nor offer credit for the cost of the unused shipping labels.

Therefore, it is vital that if less boxes will be shipped, the appropriate changes are made on your Sherpr account or with our Suppor team to issue you the appropriate set of labels. Please request these changes before your planned collection date.
