The estimated delivery date provided on your Sherpr account, and on the courier tracking, is calculated based on observed historical transit times. Whilst these are not guaranteed dates, these are the best estimates the courier can provide.
If the estimated delivery date provided by Sherpr is too soon for the recipient to accept delivery, we can request that delivery be done at a later date. However, this will only be a request, and the courier can still attempt delivery ahead of schedule.
Alternatively, if delivery is attempted earlier than planned whilst no one is at home, the courier may deliver your shipment to a neighbour or unattended at the delivery address, if they deem the area safe for goods to be left unsigned for.
