Most shipments pass through customs without incurring any duties and taxes. Whenever prompted by the concerned Customs authority, our team will help and assist you as much as possible regarding the entirety of your shipment including the possibility of waiving customs fees.
However, there are rare occassions where your shipment still incurs duty and taxes but has been delivered before these charges can be settled.
If your shipment has been arranged to be delivered despite attracting taxes or duties, Sherpr has the right to issue a recharge to your payment method for any costs relating to the issued charges.
Who do I contact to dispute any customs charges?
Sherpr have no influence over any of the duties and taxes, or customs related fees charged on your order. If you do wish to dispute any charges, you will need to do so directly with the relevant courier customs team who has facilitated the clearance procedure of your shipment.
The Recharge email you should have recieved from our team would detail the charges incurred for your shipment, as well as include the contact details of the concerned Customs authority who have applied the charges.
