Can I include food (raw/cooked), medicines, and vitamins in my shipment?

Foodstuffs cannot be shipped using our service, at any point. Such foodstuffs include but are not limited to herbs and spices, processed foods, raw meats or animal feed. Sending such items may risk infestation or spoilage should your shipment encounter delays.

Perscription medication also cannot be shipped using our service, whether its production is regulated or otherwise. As for vitamins, some over the counter supplements may be accepted by local Customs authority. However, it is safer that such items are not sent at all and taken with one's own carry own luggage instead.

It is essential that you don't pack any of these sorts of items. In doing so, you risk your entire shipment being returned to sender, or abandoned and disposed off whilst in transit.

Whenever shipping with Sherpr, please review the items you are shipping and ensure that none of them fall within our prohibited items list.

There are extremely rare occassions that the courier may offer to remove any found prohibited items for you.

For this reason, it is also very important that you do not lock your case. If the couriers need to access your case to remove any dangerous goods but cannot due to the lock, again this could cause problems and your shipment may get returned.
