Whilst Sherpr can ship most personal effects, there are a number of items which cannot be sent using our services. These are exempt from any level of compensation cover including the courtesy £100 free cover.
Such items are considered non-compensation due to their high value and fragile nature, and the high risk involved when transported through traditional courier networks.
Before declaring and packing your shipment, please ensure that items that fall under our non-compensation list are carefully considered for packing. At times, it may be prudent to consider carrying such items with your carry on luggage instead.
When sending these items, it is vital they are packaged correctly to provide as much protection as possible during transit. As expected, these items will be exempt from any loss and/or damage claims.
It is important to note that outer packaging such as suitcases, duffel bags and similar are found on the non-compensation list. The packaging themselves are not eligible for loss or damage claims.
Items sent inside a duffel bag or similar are not eligible for damage claims due to the poor level of support provided by the packaging.
